On April 22, a billion people worldwide will participate in Earth Day events around the globe. Yes, a billion people! Gives our little corner of the planet some context, doesn’t it? For J.R. Watkins, it’s important that we take some time to show that being the most trusted natural products company isn’t just about the products we sell. It’s also about our actions as people and our behaviors as a company.

Our sustainability committee organized a few employee initiatives to celebrate the planet in honor of Earth Day.  We’ve posted boards in our break rooms and are collecting pledges from our team members detailing what they’ll do over the next year to make a small (but mighty!) impact on the environment. We’ll post results and share pledges with each other. The goal is to treat every day like Earth Day. From turning off the water when brushing your teeth and sending your kids to school with recycled paper and supplies to bringing your own grocery bags to your local market. Every act makes a difference.
