The holidays are over and life is starting to get back into a rhythm again. Now that you may have a little extra time on your hands, make sure to schedule “me” time at least once a week.
Over the next few weeks we will help you find little ways to treat yourself and escape the wintery weather (although, if where you live is anything like Minnesota weather this year, you’re probably enjoying warmer temps).
Starting With Lavender:
In 2011 we conducted a study on scents and learned that a majority of people describe lavender as a relaxing, welcoming, natural scent. This week, try one or all of the following ideas to successfully ease into a state of bliss.

First, draw yourself a bath and add in our Calming Bath Soak to start your evening off on the right foot. Candles, magazines or books, and a good playlist, combined with the lovely lavender scent from the soak, makes for a perfect little retreat from the day-to-day grind.
Next, rehydrate your skin with Lavender Body Oil or Lavender Hand & Body Lotion. Winter weather can be drying, and both of these products are fabulous at adding much-needed moisture to you skin.
Finish your evening with an at-home manicure. Use the Lavender Hand & Cuticle Salve to revitalize your hands, and top it off by applying your favorite nail color.
Tell us, what activities and scents are most relaxing to you?
